Product Description

A classic oval shape with prominent ridges on one face for a very different sensation. Although prominent the ridges are gently rounded at the tips to avoid cutting the skin even with a firm paddling. This is quite a heavy paddle for its size and will feel rather thuddy, particularly on the ridged face.

The blade is tapered in thickness to keep the centre of balance towards the handle for a more comfortable feeling in the hand of the user.

The paddle is made from ipê-amarelo-da-serra (yellow ipe from the mountain ranges) which grows in Brazil and produces beautiful yellow flowers which are the national flower of Brazil. It features a brass handle hole and details, and has a silky smooth Danish oil finish.

This handcrafted paddle was created in Miss Emm's workshop in Sydney's inner west, where beautiful impact toys come to life.
