This long wenge rope paddle features a rope face with 17 jute lines and a plain wooden face for two contrasting spanking sensations. It is fitted with tossa jute rope which is the type normally used for shibari.

The rope face has a very different feel on impact to the wood face. It is duller and even thuddier than the already thuddy wood face. Being a long heavy paddle it may require some effort to use it continuously for extended periods, but the results will be well worth that effort :)

The rope in the paddle is easily removable and replaceable by loosening two metal set screws in the blade with the supplied allen key.

You can personalise the paddle by fitting your own rope if you wish. Most types of natural and synthetic rope will work, so long as you can comfortably fit the rope through an 8mm hole. The rope should be fitted with something to stop the ends fraying to help the set screws hold it in place. The fitted piece has electrical tape but you can also use electrical heat shrink tubing or traditional thread whipping.

The paddle has brass handle holes and other details and has a silky smooth Danish oil finish.

This unique style of rope paddle was developed by Miss Emm in late 2021 in response to a commission request for a paddle with one side of the blade covered in rope and the other side resembling a traditional wooden paddle. That original rope paddle is still in regular use by its owner and the rope shows no signs of deterioration or excess fraying so you can expect the rope to last for many years before needing replacemement.
