It's a little hard to know how to describe the shape of this spanking paddle - eccentric cutlass perhaps? Whatever you call it, it's a lovely medium weight paddle with pointy handle tips which are perfect for poking or caressing the skin after a paddling.

If you look closely you'll many brass dots covering the upper beige parts of the paddle handle and blade.

The Mackay cedar timber was sourced from Queensland. probably originating somewhere near Mackay. The streaky red colouring is a pattern you only find in some trees, with many being an even red colour in the tree's heartwood (the middle bit) surrounded by beige sapwood (the outer bit).

This paddle was hand crafted by Miss Emm in her workshop in Sydney's inner west. It is a unique creation so you can be sure there'll never be another quite like it.
