Product Description

Just like people not all paddles are straight! This curvy creation uses the natural curves in the grain to create a long stylish and gently curved paddle that still handles like a straight paddle. It has a bit of wight behind it for it's slender profile and feels quite thuddy.

The paddle is made from kiaat with brass handle holes and details. It has a smooth Danish oil finish.

For the timber afficionados kiaat is an African timber from the same genus (Pterocarpus) as African padauk and narra/New Guinea rosewood, both of which I have used many times for paddles and cane handles.

This unique paddle was created by Miss Emm in her workshop in Sydney's inner west, where the world's most beautiful impact toys are brought to life.
