This delightful little whacky implement is perfect for a night out at the club or an up close and personal paddling experience. It is short enough to swing from the wrist and its thin blade will provide a sharp stingy sensation without the bite associated with a traditional cane.

The shaft is made from rattan and the handle has been handcrafted from wenge with an aluminium handle hole and details. The pane is finished in gloss polyurethane varnish for an attractive and smooth surface and ease of cleaning.

Panes are made from a single large piece of rattan which is then cut down to create a flat blade surface. The impact sensation they produce is somewhere between a paddle and a cane, hence the name. They don't have quite the intensity of a traditional cane, nor the thud of a wooden paddle. The flat blade shaft has some flex which helps convey the feeling of a cane to both the caner and canee.

Miss Emm came up with the flat cane concept way back in 2011 after being asked whether it was possible to create a cane that didn't feel as intense as a cane!

This handcrafted pane was created by Miss Emm in her workshop in Sydney's inner west, where the finest wooden kink toys come to life.
