Whilst it's made of rattan this cane definitely feels more like a truncheon. At 21mm in diameter there is almost no flex in the shaft so you'll get a solid thuddy impact.

The battlscars on the rattan are all minor surface imperfections in the rattan skin which have no effect in use. They're all fully sealed b the varnish finish.

The handle is made from jarrah from Western Australia, with an aluminium handle hole and embedded aluminium disc on one face.
