This little cane is only 9mm in diameter but being so short it feels quite rigid and won't flex if you swing it around. It's the perfect size for cbt caning and bastinado, or even conducting an orchestra :)

The cane shaft is rattan and the handle has been handcrafted from jarrah with aluminium handle hole and details. The cane is finished in satin polyurethane varnish for an attractive and smooth surface and ease of cleaning.

Jarrah is one of Australia's best known cabinet making timbers. It grows in Western Australia and is sometimes used as a construction timber and even for railway sleepers and wharf piles and other uses requiring good quality rot, termite and weather resistant wood. 

This cane was created in Miss Emm's workshop in Sydney's inner west, where the finest wooden kink toys are brought to life.
